1. The Noun (El sustantivo)

A noun is a word that names a person, place, thing, animal, or idea.

Un sustantivo es una palabra que nombra una persona, lugar, cosa, animal o idea.

a) A noun can be the SUBJECT (Un sustantivo puede ser el SUJETO)

The subject is the noun that does the action.

El sujeto es el sustantivo que hace la acción.

Position: Before the verb (Antes del verbo).

3. The Object (El objeto)

An object is the noun or pronoun that receives the action of the verb.

a) Direct Object (Objeto directo)

Answers what? or whom?

Responde a ¿qué? o ¿a quién?

Step 1: Find the verb (Encuentra el verbo).
Step 2: Ask who? or what? before the verb → Subject (Pregunta ¿quién? o ¿qué? antes del verbo → Sujeto).
Step 3: Ask what? or whom? after the verb → Object (Pregunta ¿qué? o ¿a quién? después del verbo → Objeto).
